You will research the effects of trauma on life development. You will discuss trauma and resilience, how trauma affects development, and what might be the determining factors that impact development when a child is exposed to trauma. You will also explore what research says about spiritual development’s effect on resilience and countering the effects of trauma.
You will also discuss current research regarding addiction/abuse, resilience in this population, and what interventions may counteract abuse of substances and addictions in this population.

Elaborate with at least two examples of how trauma affects development in both stages (two examples for preschool and two examples for toddlerhood). How does resilience play a part in these examples?
