Part 1: Growing as an Early Childhood Professional: Self-Assessment

· Action Steps: What steps will you take to reach your goal?

· Note: At least one action step for each goal should include a collaborative component. Collaborative activities include observations, interviews, book clubs, consultation with a director of professional development, etc. (Add or remove table cells, as needed).

· Collaborator(s): Who will support you in completing your action steps and/or reaching your goal?

· Resources: What do you need to complete your action steps and/or reach your goal?

· Timeline: What is your timeline for completing the action step?

· Evaluation: How will you know you have reached your goal?

Part 3: Reflection on Implementation of Action Step

Implement at least one action step from your Professional Development Plan. Then, write a 1- to 2-page reflection, in the space provided, that explains the following:

· The action step(s) you implementation and provide evidence of your implementation.

· Whether the action step(s) implementation did or did not support you in reaching your professional development goal.

· The collaborative component(s) of the implemented action step(s) and whether it did or did not support you in reaching your professional development goal.

· How subsequent action steps will support you in making meaningful contributions to young children’s healthy development and learning.
